For those who are looking for winning grip. The Michelin Enduro Front Racing Line has been developed to excel on all types of terrain. The combination of the Michelin Wild Enduro tread Magi-X DH and the Downhill Shield deliver maximum grip no matter the terrain. More robustness thanks to its double-reinforced Downhill Shield and anti-puncture reinforcement delivering excellent handling even at low pressures. Available in front-and rear-specific versions the MICHELIN Wild Enduro Racing Line tyres are available in 29x2.40 to suit the race bikes used today at the highest levels of the sport and by riders who ride aggressively on enduro-type terrain. The focus of the new range is to offer the highest levels of grip in challenging conditions and to resist damage when riding at the limit. This has been made possible due to the use of the MAGI-X DH tread rubber compound and Double Defense 4X-Ply Low-Pressure Reinforcement and High-Density Puncture Protection integrated into the casing design. Magi-XDH technology This is the same sticky and durable rubber compound as used in Michelin's DH range of tyres that are optimised to offer high grip levels in wet and dry conditions on a variety of terrain. In addition the compound ensures consistent grip across a wide temperature range from 5deg. to 40deg. Celsius (41deg. to 104deg. Fahrenheit). Downhill shield technology Anti-puncture reinforcement delivers great handling even at lower pressures. Double Defense 4X-Ply Designed with four plies in the sidewall areas to increase resistance to damage and increase lateral stability of the tyres' casing during high-speed cornering.* Specification MIC-475741 | ENDURO EBIKE | MIXEDEXTREME | FOLDABLE | TUBELESS READY | 61-622 | 29 X 2.40" | FRONT | 55 | 1400g | MAGI-X DH | DH SHIELD | E-BIKE READYPINCH PROTECTION | 1.5 | 4 | A4 | MIC-661840 | ENDURO EBIKE | MIXEDEXTREME | FOLDABLE | TUBELESS READY | 61-622 | 29 X 2.40" | REAR | 55 | 1350g | MAGI-X DH | DH SHIELD | E-BIKE READYPINCH PROTECTION | 1.5 | 4 | A4 | Technical Information STANDARD TYRE FITTING (with inner tube) - Carefully check the condition of the rim. A poor-condition broken or cracked rim must be replaced as it could cause leaks and be dangerous.
- Check the condition of the rim tape. Broken or cracked tape must be replaced as this often causes punctures.
- Insert the 1st bead into the rim.
- Slightly inflate the inner tube to make it round and insert it into the tyre starting with the valve. For latex inner tubes do not forget to apply talc to make it easier to position it in the tyre.
- Repeat for the 2nd bead starting on the opposite side to the valve and positioning the bead at the bottom of the rim. Finish off fitting near to the valve.
TUBELESS READY A Tubeless Ready tyre is a tyre that can be fitted without an inner tube. It is made airtight using sealant rather than an inner tube. To fit a tubeless tyre: - Use a UST Tubeless wheel.
- Add sealant.
- Comply with the maximum pressure indicated on the tyre sidewall.
TUBELESS - Use a UST-Tubeless rim. Carefully check the condition of the rim. A poor-condition broken or cracked rim must be replaced as it could cause leaks and be dangerous.
- The rim must be lubricated all over to make it easier to move around when fitting the tyre but mainly so it can be centered perfectly.
- The lubricant must be soapy water type or equivalent (no oil or grease).
- Start by positioning the first bead on the opposite side to the valve taking care to position the bead at the bottom of the well.
- Inflate the tyre until it is in position without exceeding the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewalls and make sure that the tyre is properly centered. Adjust the pressure after cycling a few miles.
REMOVING - Loosen the beads from around the rim.
- Push them to the bottom of the well.
- Carefully position a tyre lever on either side of the valve (about 10cm) and lift the tyre over the rim hook.
- Work one of the levers around the rim between the hook and bead to fully remove the first bead.
- Extract 2nd bead by hand.
RIM TAPE This protects the inner tube in contact with the rim preventing it from being damaged by spoke ends once it is inflated. It must be the width of the rim cavity. There is a Tubeless version for Tubeless and Tubeless Ready tyres. |
